Indian cricketers Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma have made a strategic investment in Hyderabad-based TRUZON Solar, a solar solutions provider operating under Suntek Energy Systems. The move highlights growing interest among sports personalities in India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy sector.

The company’s founder and managing director, Charugundla Bhavani Suresh, said the investment reflects confidence in TRUZON Solar’s long-term vision and its role in supporting India’s clean energy transition. The company has more than 17 years of experience in the solar industry and focuses on reliable installations and strong after-sales service networks.
TRUZON Solar currently operates across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, and plans to expand into Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Odisha in the coming months. The firm employs over 580 professionals and works with more than 80 channel partners and service centres.
Interestingly, legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is already an investor in the company, while actor Mahesh Babu serves as its brand ambassador, strengthening the brand’s visibility in India’s clean energy market.
The investment reflects a broader trend of public figures backing renewable energy ventures as India pushes toward a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
