The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed Class 12 board examinations scheduled between March 12 and March 16 in several Middle Eastern countries due to the ongoing Iran–Israel conflict.
The decision affects CBSE-affiliated schools in countries including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, where thousands of Indian students appear for board exams each year.

According to CBSE officials, the move was taken after a review of the regional security situation and concerns about student stress and uncertainty amid escalating tensions.
The board said fresh exam dates will be announced later after assessing the situation again. Authorities are expected to review conditions in the region on March 14 before deciding on the remaining examination schedule.
Students have been advised to stay in touch with their respective schools and follow official CBSE announcements for updates on the revised timetable.
