Ria Mary Roy serves as Executive Director at the Confident Group, overseeing residential projects including apartments, villas, and flats across Kerala, Bengaluru, and Dubai. Her career began with internships and apprenticeships, gradually taking a leadership role in the company’s UAE operations.
Ria completed her BSc in Management and Marketing with a specialization in Entrepreneurship from the University of Exeter in the UK. She attended high school at Dubai American Academy under GEMS Education. Alongside her corporate role, she has been active in student and social entrepreneurship initiatives, serving as Marketing Head at Enactus Exeter and as Marketing and Promotions Secretary of the University of Exeter Indian Society.
She also co-founded her own e-commerce brand, Ria Rossen, which she ran from 2019 to 2020, a concept she began developing during high school. Ria’s experience also includes a marketing communications internship at Aster DM Healthcare in Dubai and membership in the University of Exeter Finance and Technology Society.
Rohit Roy: Leading UAE Operations
Rohit Roy, the elder sibling, is Founder Director of Confident Group UAE. Associated with the company since 2006, he progressed from Executive Director to Managing Director, leading the group’s international expansion and overseeing strategic operations from Dubai. Rohit shares a known passion for luxury cars, including Rolls-Royce models, with his father.
Where They Were During the Bengaluru Incident
Both Ria and Rohit divide their time between Bengaluru and Dubai. Ria currently leads Confident Group LLC in Dubai, while Rohit manages the UAE operations. Authorities are investigating whether any family member was present at the Bengaluru office during a recent critical incident.

Despite personal and professional challenges, Ria and Rohit continue to drive the operations of the Confident Group and maintain a focus on growth and expansion.
CJ Roy’s Death
The family and company were recently impacted by the death of Confident Group founder Dr. CJ Roy, who died by suicide at the Bengaluru office on January 30, 2026, during an Income Tax search. The incident has brought public attention to the family, but both Ria and Rohit continue to hold strong operational roles while managing the company through this difficult period.
