Adipoli, a vibrant term in Malayalam meaning “super,” “excellent,” or “amazing,” is now more than just a word—it’s the name of a tropical magnesium and vitamin drink launching in the UAE. Malayalee entrepreneurs from Poland have brought this innovative beverage to Gulf consumers, starting with LuLu stores across the region.

From Poland to the Middle East
Retail giant LuLu Group revealed at Gulfood 2026 that it will roll out Adipoli alongside another product, Malayali Habibi, across its UAE stores. The name “Poli” in Adipoli playfully nods to Poland, where the drink is produced. Bottled and packaged in Warsaw, Adipoli is designed to attract curiosity-driven shoppers with its cultural appeal and unique formulation. V Nandakumar, Director of Marketing and Communications at LuLu Group, emphasized that the retailer is supporting young international brands that bring novelty to their shelves. “We met the entrepreneurs in Poland last year, and they developed this product specifically for UAE audiences,” he said.
What’s in the Drink?
Adipoli is marketed as a tropical vitamin and magnesium beverage aimed at supporting the nervous system, boosting metabolism, and promoting healthy skin, hair, and nails. While its benefits are highlighted on the packaging, consumer reviews in the UAE are yet to emerge. Nandakumar explained that the drink, along with Malayali Habibi, reflects the vision of Indian entrepreneurs based in Poland who wanted to create products rooted in Kerala and Indian identity for international markets. “After launching an alcohol-free beer called Malayali, they adapted Malayali Habibi for the Middle East market,” he added.
Brand Story and Expansion
Founded in 2022, Hexagon Spirits International produces both Adipoli and Malayali Habibi. The brand has quickly expanded to 21 countries, including a high-profile debut at Cochin International Airport duty-free. Brewed in Poland using European hops and Indian rice flakes, the beverages come in multiple variants. The brand’s founders, Chandramohan Nallur and Sargheve Sukumaran, credit the concept of Adipoli to experiences during Operation Ganga, India’s evacuation mission in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, inspiring products that celebrate resilience and identity. “This win is not just for us, it’s for everyone who dares to dream globally,” said Nallur, reflecting on recognition at the World Beer Awards within three years of launch.
Global Growth Plans
Hexagon Spirits International has reported 30% year-on-year sales growth in markets such as the UK, UAE, Singapore, and Europe. The company plans further expansion into North America, Oceania, and Southeast Asia by the end of 2025. With Adipoli’s launch in LuLu stores, the brand is set to bring a taste of Kerala-inspired innovation to the Middle East, blending cultural familiarity with international appeal.
