The first phase of Tata Consultancy Services’ (TCS) Digital Hub, one of India’s largest technology facilities focusing on next-generation fields like artificial intelligence, robotics, aerospace, and advanced research, is set to be inaugurated next month at Technopark Phase IV. The exact date will be confirmed soon by the state government, officials said. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is expected to preside over the inauguration, which will bring together industry leaders and policymakers.

Spanning around 94 acres within the 389-acre Phase IV campus, the hub is nearing completion under the construction leadership of Tata Projects Ltd. The first phase alone will cover over 1 million square feet across two blocks, featuring state-of-the-art office spaces, labs, and collaboration zones. A Tata Projects source said the hub is designed to drive deep-tech growth in aerospace, AI, and robotics, serving not just as service centers but as research and product development facilities that strengthen TCS’s global capabilities.
Operations will begin in phases following the inauguration, with full-scale activities expected by May. The hub is initially projected to employ 6,200 professionals, with plans to expand rapidly as further blocks are completed. Once all phases are finished, the campus could accommodate around 21,000 employees, positioning it as one of Kerala’s largest tech-sector employment hubs.
A senior Technopark official described the project as a landmark for Phase IV and Kerala’s broader technology ecosystem. Beyond generating employment, the hub is expected to become a center for collaboration among global clients, startups, and academic institutions, particularly in AI, aerospace engineering, and advanced robotics.
