Adani Vizhinjam Port, India’s newest and most advanced deep-water transshipment hub, has opened its latest round of apprenticeship applications for Diploma, B.Sc, BE, and B.Tech freshers. The programme, offered under the National Apprenticeship Scheme (NAPS), provides a 12-month, industry-immersive training experience with leading O&M service partners working at the port.

The apprenticeship aims to equip young technical talent with practical skills in port operations, engineering systems, terminal equipment handling, safety protocols, and modern logistics. Eligible branches include Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, ensuring opportunities for a wide range of technical graduates.
Candidates selected for the programme will receive a competitive monthly stipend—₹18,000 for BE/B.Tech graduates and ₹16,000 for Diploma/B.Sc graduates. The port has set clear eligibility criteria: applicants must be below 25 years of age, must have completed their education in the first attempt within the last three years, and must not be enrolled in any government apprenticeship scheme or EPF membership. Priority will be given to candidates residing within a 10 km radius of the Vizhinjam Port to encourage local employment.
With limited seats available, the port has urged interested candidates to apply at the earliest. The last date to apply is December 12. This initiative is part of Adani Vizhinjam Port’s broader commitment to developing skilled manpower and supporting local communities through long-term employment opportunities.
