Popular actor Ajay Devgn is set to attend the Telangana Rising Global Summit, where he is expected to sign an agreement with the state government to develop a world-class film studio and film city in Hyderabad. The two-day event will take place on December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City.
Collaboration to Boost Film and VFX Capabilities
The summit organisers shared on social media that Ajay Devgn, a national award-winning actor and producer, will partner with Telangana to bring cutting-edge film production, VFX, and smart studio capabilities to the state. The collaboration is expected to enhance Telangana’s position as a hub for cinema infrastructure in India.
Previous Meetings and Vision for the Studio
In July, Ajay Devgn met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in New Delhi to discuss his interest in establishing an international-standard film studio in Telangana. He proposed a facility equipped with state-of-the-art animation, VFX, and AI-powered smart studios.
Skill Development and Industry Growth
Devgn also expressed interest in setting up a skill development institute to train professionals across various sectors of the film industry. He highlighted the potential of Telangana as a premier destination for cinema infrastructure and shared his vision for contributing to the growth of the film ecosystem with global expertise and advanced technology.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy briefed Devgn on the state government’s initiatives for overall development, including media and entertainment. Ajay Devgn appreciated the proactive measures and assured that he would serve as a brand ambassador for “Rising Telangana,” promoting the state through cinema and media.
