Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast has announced that its new 7-seater electric MPV, the Limo Green, will enter the Indian market by February 2026, expanding the company’s footprint beyond the VF6 and VF7 SUVs. The launch marks VinFast’s entry into India’s premium people-mover EV segment, an area expected to grow significantly as both families and fleet operators shift toward larger electric vehicles.
The Limo Green is designed as a full-electric MPV with a three-row 2+3+2 seating layout, offering comfortable space for seven passengers. Globally, the model is equipped with a 60.13 kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing approximately 201–204 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. Depending on markets and driving conditions, the vehicle reportedly offers an NEDC-rated range of around 450 km, making it suitable for intercity travel, airport shuttles, and long daily drives.

Inside the cabin, the Limo Green is expected to feature a modern interior with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected-car features, spacious second-row legroom and foldable seating for flexible cargo needs. The design focuses on practicality, silent operation and comfort, elements critical for MPV users in India, especially in the family and fleet segments.
VinFast’s decision to introduce a large electric MPV highlights its strategy to diversify beyond compact EVs and directly compete in high-volume utility segments. The company is also strengthening its India presence through local partnerships, ramping up manufacturing capacity and planning a broader EV rollout in the coming years.
The arrival of the Limo Green positions VinFast as a significant new challenger in India’s emerging electric MPV space, offering a zero-emission alternative to traditional diesel-powered people movers. With rising EV adoption, expanding charging networks and government support for clean mobility, the Limo Green has the potential to become a strong player among customers seeking space, comfort and electric efficiency.
