Anas Kadiyarakam, a native of Kozhikode district and human-resources professional in Abu Dhabi, has earned the prestigious ‘Outstanding Workforce – Skilled Workers’ award at the Emirates Labour Market Awards. The recognition marks the pinnacle of his 16-year journey in the UAE healthcare sector, culminating in a trophy, Dh100,000, a gold coin, and an Apple Watch, among other prizes.

Arriving in Abu Dhabi in 2009 as an HR Executive, Anas rose to Regional HR Manager at the LLH Hospital cluster under Burjeel Holdings, managing strategic projects and guiding personnel through the pandemic. His leadership role during the COVID-19 response, particularly at Mafraq COVID-19 Hospital, earned him earlier accolades including the Heroes of the UAE Medal and a Golden Visa.
At the award ceremony, Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan presented the honour, underlining the value of skilled talent in the UAE’s workforce ecosystem. Anas dedicated the award to his family, leadership, and team, committing to continue building inclusive and supportive workspaces across the Gulf region.
