Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh has once again proven its unmatched spiritual and financial influence. According to PTI, the temple received ₹918 crore in donations between November 2024 and October 2025 — ₹579 crore through online channels and ₹339 crore offline. The temple also earns significant income from the sale of its famous laddu prasadam, auction of devotees’ hair offerings, and long-term gold and cash deposits.
A 2020 white paper by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) revealed that the trust holds 10.3 tonnes of gold and fixed deposits worth over ₹5,300 crore, alongside nearly ₹15,938 crore in cash deposits — making it one of India’s wealthiest religious institutions.
