Zoho Corporation, the Indian multinational known for its suite of cloud-based business software, has become the first company to rent an entire floor at i by Infopark, the newly opened coworking space located in the Ernakulam South metro station building.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan handed over the permission certificate to Zoho co-founder Tony G Thomas on Tuesday at the Kinfra International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre in Kakkanad. The Kochi facility is Zoho’s second in Kerala and its first in the city.
According to Infopark officials, the company has taken over the entire fourth floor of the seven-storey building, which spans 6,350 square feet. The space is expected to host Zoho’s business development and solutioning teams.
Zoho’s first Kerala office — an R&D centre at Neduvathoor in Kottarakkara, Kollam — was inaugurated in July this year. Located in a rural setting, it aligns with Zoho’s broader strategy of establishing offices outside major urban areas. The centre focuses on research in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics.
To bridge the skill gap in advanced technologies, Zoho runs a local training programme that hires and upskills youth before bringing them into the company’s workforce. Strengthening its R&D efforts further, Zoho recently acquired Kochi-based startup Asimov Robotics, which now operates from the Kottarakkara facility.
Infopark CEO Susanth Kurunthil said the fourth floor at i by Infopark follows the theme of “Taste,” designed to blend work and wellness while promoting inclusivity.
“With interiors inspired by soft pastel tones, the space encourages calm and comfort while integrating mindful food and dietary experiences. From casual breaks to team lunches, every detail has been curated to create an inviting and inclusive workspace,” Kurunthil said.
i by Infopark is Kerala’s first neurodiversity-friendly coworking hub, covering 48,000 square feet and accommodating over 580 professionals. The space has been envisioned as a flexible, inclusive workplace equipped with world-class amenities.
