Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL), India’s largest private airport operator, has entered into a strategic partnership with enterprise AI company AIONOS to deploy a next-generation, multilingual agentic AI concierge system across its airports. The initiative aims to revolutionise passenger experience by offering seamless, personalised and real-time assistance across channels including voice, chat, web, mobile and social platforms.

The AI solution, powered by AIONOS’ proprietary platform IntelliMate™, will act as a 24×7 intelligent virtual help desk capable of answering travel queries, sharing live flight and gate updates, helping locate airport services, tracking baggage status, and guiding passengers across terminals. With support for English, Hindi and multiple regional languages, the system is designed to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for travellers across India.
The introduction of the AI system is aligned with AAHL’s broader digital transformation strategy centred on automation, operational intelligence and passenger-first design. It will enable consistent assistance across all Adani-managed airports, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Guwahati, Jaipur, Thiruvananthapuram and the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport.
AAHL says the technology will significantly enhance airport efficiency by reducing wait times at service kiosks, improving response accuracy and minimising service bottlenecks during high-traffic periods. In addition, the system is expected to support airport staff by automating frequent queries, allowing human personnel to focus on complex service needs.
Arun Bansal, CEO of AAHL, said the collaboration reflects the company’s mission to turn airports into “future-ready lifestyle destinations powered by smart, intuitive and human-centred technology.” He added that the initiative builds on AAHL’s ecosystem that already includes platforms such as aviio, Adani OneApp and Airport-in-a-Box, all developed to ensure integrated digital experiences across passengers, airlines and ground partners.
CP Gurnani, Co-founder & Vice Chairman of AIONOS, emphasised that the partnership highlights India’s rapidly growing role as a global hub for AI-driven aviation solutions. “Our goal is to enable airports to deliver world-class intelligent engagement systems that enhance customer experience and operational excellence,” he said.
With eight airports under operation and multiple digital initiatives underway, the AI solution marks a major milestone in Adani Airports’ journey to redefine airport experience in India by blending technology, convenience, and customer-first innovation at scale.
