 Raymond Group to invest in Aerospace

The Raymond Group has announced a significant economic push into Andhra Pradesh, committing ₹940 crore to establish dual manufacturing hubs focused on the high-growth aerospace and automotive sectors. The aerospace facility, led by the subsidiary JK Maini Global Aerospace, will specialize in producing high-precision components for global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, while the second unit will expand Raymond's footprint in the auto components market. This strategic investment is expected to generate approximately 5,500 direct jobs in the region by May 2027.

Raymond Group has committed ₹940 crore to Andhra Pradesh for setting up dual manufacturing hubs in aerospace and automotive sectors. The aerospace facility, led by subsidiary JK Maini Global Aerospace, will focus on producing high-precision components for global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. The automotive unit aims to enhance Raymond’s presence in the auto components market. These projects are expected to generate approximately 5,500 direct jobs by May 2027.

The Andhra Pradesh government has approved these investments under the state’s Industrial Development Policy 4.0 (2024–29). A special incentive package of ₹700 crore has been sanctioned to expedite the development of these facilities.

This strategic move aligns with Raymond Group’s goal to diversify its business portfolio and strengthen its position in the global manufacturing landscape.
