The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has launched a unique initiative encouraging commuters to report unhygienic toilets at toll plazas. Users who spot dirty facilities can earn ₹1,000, which will be directly credited to their FASTag accounts. The scheme is valid across all national highways until October 31, 2025.

How to Participate
FASTag users can follow these steps to claim the reward:
- Download the latest Rajmargyatra app on your smartphone.
- Take clear, geo-tagged photos of dirty toilets at NHAI toll plazas, ensuring the time stamp is visible.
- Submit your report on the app, including your name, mobile number, and Vehicle Registration Number (VRN).
- Each VRN reporting successfully will receive ₹1,000 in their FASTag account.
Rules and Restrictions
To keep the scheme fair and transparent, NHAI has set the following conditions:
- Only toilets constructed, operated, or maintained by NHAI are eligible. Toilets at dhabas, fuel stations, or other public places do not qualify.
- Each VRN can claim a single ₹1,000 reward during the entire scheme.
- Rewards for a toilet are given once per day; if multiple users report the same facility, only the first valid submission counts.
- Photos must be captured through the Rajmargyatra app. Manipulated, duplicated, or previously reported images will be rejected.
Verification Process
Submitted reports go through a two-step screening process:
- AI-assisted verification to quickly assess submissions.
- Manual verification where necessary to ensure accuracy.
This system ensures fair reward distribution while maintaining the integrity of the drive.
