DCX Systems Ltd has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu to set up a new manufacturing facility at Hosur. The agreement was signed during the Tamil Nadu Rising Investment Conclave, in the presence of Chief Minister M K Stalin.

The upcoming facility will be located in one of India’s Defence Industrial Corridors and aligns with the Tamil Nadu Industrial Policy 2021 and the Aerospace and Defence Industrial Policy 2022.
Joint Venture with ELTA Systems
The project will be executed through a joint venture company formed between DCX Systems and ELTA Systems Ltd, Israel, along with its group companies. The partnership, announced in April 2025, focuses on the Government of India’s Make in India initiative.
The Hosur plant will produce Airborne Maritime Radar Systems, Fire Control Radar Systems, and other radar technologies designed for both airborne and land-based applications.
Government Support
The state’s nodal agency, Guidance, will provide infrastructural support and regulatory facilitation for the joint venture. This includes assistance in securing permissions, approvals, and incentives, ensuring smoother operations as the new plant takes shape.
