Safin Hasan’s story is a powerful example of perseverance and ambition. Born in a modest home in Gujarat, his mother worked as a cook in strangers’ kitchens while his father labored lifting bricks. To supplement their limited income, the family ran a small roadside egg stall at night.

The turning point in Safin’s life came when a District Collector visited his school. Inspired by the officer’s ability to impact lives, Safin decided he wanted to serve the nation through civil service. With the support of his school and relatives, he pursued his education and later joined an engineering college.
In 2017, on the day of his crucial UPSC exam, Safin faced a major setback, a serious accident that would have stopped most people. Showing extraordinary determination, he completed all his exam papers before heading to the hospital for surgery. His efforts paid off when he cleared the UPSC with an All India Rank of 570 at just 22 years old.
Safin Hasan became India’s youngest IPS officer, symbolizing the power of will, perseverance, and family support. His journey shows that humble beginnings and adversity cannot limit extraordinary achievement. It stands as an inspiration for all young Indians aiming to turn dreams into reality.
