The inspiring journey of Khan Sir (Faizal Khan), one of India’s most loved teachers, proves that dreams never fail—only plans do.
Born in a modest home in Uttar Pradesh, Faizal Khan grew up with limited means but limitless ambition. His father worked as a contractor, his mother managed the household, and money was often scarce. But Faizal had one big dream—to serve in the Indian Army.
He tried thrice, first for Sainik School, then for a polytechnic course, and finally for the NDA. Each time, failure knocked him down. But it never knocked him out.
With no clear path ahead, he began tutoring a single student. That student went on to top his class. Word spread, and more students followed.
Life still tested him. One evening, after a full day of teaching, Faizal found he had only ₹40 in hand—far short of the ₹90 bus fare home. Too proud to borrow, he walked the long distance. Sitting by the Ganga that night, he made a life-changing decision—to start his own coaching centre.
With help from friends, he opened a small setup. But success brought enemies. One night, a bomb blast ripped through his coaching centre. The next morning, instead of despair, he saw hope. His students showed up with brooms to help him clean. Their belief in him made him unstoppable.
Years later, when offered a staggering ₹107 crore contract by a company, Faizal refused, saying, “My students need me.”
Today, Khan Sir commands millions of subscribers on YouTube, inspiring learners across India. He earns well, but wealth is not his measure of success—his true joy lies in seeing his students achieve their dreams.
