Presented by The Chicago Athenaeum and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, this award recognises architectural excellence in urban and transport infrastructure.
Design Rooted in Culture and Nature
Terminal 2’s design draws inspiration from the resilience of bamboo and the elegance of the foxtail orchid—two symbols of Assam’s natural beauty. This architectural tribute merges Northeast India’s culture with futuristic infrastructure, making it not just a transit hub but a visual and environmental experience.
Sustainable & Smart Infrastructure
Guwahati Airport’s T2 is more than just beautiful—it’s designed for the future. With:
