Uber India has significantly expanded its Intercity offering to over 3,000 routes—a 50% increase compared to the 2,000 routes available at the end of 2024. The company aims to grow further to 4,500 routes by the end of 2025, targeting widespread access across cities and smaller towns nationwide

To elevate long-distance travel, Uber has introduced a limited-period Motorhome pilot in the Delhi‑NCR region. Bookings opened on August 4, and services are available from August 7 to September 6, 2025, via a dedicated icon in the Uber app
Each motorhome accommodates 4–5 passengers and includes onboard comforts like a TV, lavatory, microwave, mini‑refrigerator, along with features such as reserve bookings, multiple stops, real-time tracking, and 24×7 support.
Popular intercity corridors over the past year include Mumbai–Pune, Delhi–Agra, Bangalore–Mysore, Lucknow–Kanpur, and Ahmedabad–Vadodara, especially during long weekends and festival seasons
Why It Matters
- Expanded Coverage: Over 3,000 routes across India and set to reach 4,500 — better access for intercity road travelers.
- New Premium Format: Motorhomes offer group-scale comfort and flexibility, ideal for weekend getaways or special trips that demand privacy and space.
Strategic Timing: Pilot launch aligns with festive travel peak and holiday periods.
