MG Group, a leading private bus and coach manufacturer in India, has introduced its super-premium intercity coach TIGRA along with a refreshed corporate identity. The launch event, titled “RE:BORN”, took place at The Royal Senate, Palace Grounds in Bengaluru. TIGRA, designed and built at MG’s Belagavi facility, is available across all 13.5-meter coach chassis, targeting both Indian and global markets.
A New Era for the MG Brand
The brand refresh marks ten years since MG entered the premium coach segment. The new logo, inspired by a metal bolt, features a seamless M-to-G design that reflects MG’s journey from product concept to market delivery.
Chairman and Managing Director Anil Mohan Kamat stated that the group is moving beyond being just a trusted OEM partner. “We are stepping forward as a brand that leads with innovation, design, and premium product offerings like TIGRA,” he said.
