Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has added British ultra-luxury carmaker Bentley to its brand portfolio, effective July 1, 2025. The move brings the total number of brands under SAVWIPL to six and marks a significant expansion of its presence in India’s premium automotive sector.
Bentley India to Handle Sales and Service
A new business entity, Bentley India, has been formed under SAVWIPL to manage the brand’s operations nationwide. This includes marketing, sales, and after-sales services. Abbey Thomas has been appointed as Brand Director and will lead Bentley’s growth plans in India, focusing on expanding the retail network and customer base in the fast-growing ultra-luxury market.

Launch with Three Dealer Partners in Major Cities
Bentley India will begin operations with three dealer partners located in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bengaluru. These showrooms are designed to cater to India’s ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs), offering Bentley’s signature handcrafted luxury, design excellence, and high-performance engineering.

Piyush Arora, Managing Director and CEO of SAVWIPL, described the addition of Bentley as a proud milestone that completes the group’s product range—from German engineering precision to British luxury craftsmanship.
