To celebrate Group Chairman Shri Gautam Adani’s 63rd birthday on June 24, the Adani Foundation led a massive nationwide blood donation drive across 206 cities in 21 states and two union territories. Surpassing last year’s record of 25,282 units, the initiative collected 27,661 units of blood—approximately 11,100 litres—aimed at helping over 83,000 patients.
Conducted by Adani Healthcare Team
The large-scale campaign was carried out under the supervision of the Adani Healthcare team, drawing enthusiastic participation from Adani Group employees and partners. Blood components collected included Whole Blood, PCV, Platelet Concentrates, Plasma, FFP, Cryoprecipitate, and Albumin—vital for a range of medical treatments.

Gratitude from the Foundation
Dr. Priti Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, thanked all participants:
“I deeply thank our Adani Parivaar for stepping forward and making this act of seva count. Your generosity will touch countless lives.”
Support from Medical Professionals
The drive was conducted in collaboration with Red Cross blood banks and government hospitals. Over 3,000 doctors, paramedics, data operators, and administrative staff from across the Adani Group played a key role in organizing and managing the event.
Global Participation for the First Time
For the first time since the tradition began in 2011, the blood donation drive extended beyond India. Camps were held at the Colombo West International Terminal (CWIT) Port in Sri Lanka and Dar-es-Salaam Port in Tanzania, where over 100 donors contributed to the cause.
Inspired by the Spirit of Service
The blood donation initiative reflects Shri Gautam Adani’s guiding philosophy—“Seva hi Sadhana hai” (Service is Worship)—and highlights the Foundation’s ongoing mission of community-led social impact.
