The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has officially unveiled the logo and website for ‘Hack Gen AI’, India’s biggest Generative AI hackathon. The launch event took place at the KSUM campus in Kochi and was led by Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly. His participation added significance to the occasion as the state gears up for the upcoming Kerala Innovation Festival 2025.
Hackathon Scheduled for July 19-20, 2025
Hack Gen AI will be held on July 19 and 20, 2025, at the KSUM campus in Kochi. The event aims to bring together developers, students, creators, and early-stage startups from across India to build innovative solutions using Generative AI tools. The hackathon offers a platform to experiment, prototype, and showcase AI-powered solutions for various real-world challenges.

While launching the hackathon, Nivin Pauly praised Kerala’s thriving innovation ecosystem and urged young talents to participate in the state’s growing tech and startup movement. The event is expected to further energize Kerala’s tech community and inspire broader engagement in AI development.

Hack Gen AI marks the beginning of the Kerala Innovation Festival (KIF) 2025, the state’s largest event dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship. This edition of KIF also celebrates the 10-year milestone of KSUM and its efforts in building an inclusive and grassroots-focused startup ecosystem in India.
