Dubai has announced that nursing professionals who have worked in the city for over 15 years will now be eligible for the UAE’s prestigious golden visa. This initiative applies specifically to nurses employed with Dubai Health.
Leadership Initiative by Sheikh Hamdan
The directive was issued by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE. It aims to honour the long-standing contributions of nursing staff to the city’s healthcare system.

Sheikh Hamdan highlighted that nurses play a vital role at the forefront of the healthcare system. He described them as essential partners in achieving a healthier society and improving the quality of life for all residents.
