The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, India’s longest expressway at 1,380 kilometers, is nearing full completion. It is being launched in phases, with a significant section near Kota, Rajasthan, already operational.
Reduced Travel Time
Travel from Gurugram (Haryana) to Vadodara (Gujarat) now takes around 10 hours, compared to the earlier 20–22 hours. The expressway is designed for speeds up to 120 kmph, offering substantial time and fuel savings.

Coverage Across Six States
The ₹95,000 crore project spans Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. Once fully open, the expressway will cover 1,386 kilometers, making it the longest and most advanced highway in India.
Focus on Eco-Friendly Construction
The project emphasizes sustainability through the use of green technologies. Special measures have been taken to protect wildlife, particularly near the Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve, with dedicated animal corridors, tunnels, and noise barriers.
