According to the management, the airline intends to create over 750 jobs by the end of 2025. The new office will play a central role in facilitating workforce expansion and service planning as the airline prepares for commercial operations.
Flight Services and Expansion Strategy
Air Kerala will begin with domestic flights and aims to start international services in the near future. The first aircraft is expected to take off from Kochi in June 2025. The airline plans to serve regional routes, connecting smaller cities in central and southern India to major metro hubs.
Aircraft Fleet and Service Model
Chairman Afi Ahmad stated that Air Kerala is committed to offering ultra-low-cost air travel. The company is currently in talks with Irish firms to lease five aircraft, while also exploring direct purchases.
