Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Vantara, a vast wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre in Gujarat. The facility, spread over 3,000 acres, houses more than 1.5 lakh rescued animals from over 2,000 species.

During his visit, PM Modi observed Vantara’s efforts to recreate natural habitats and interacted with various animals, including Golden Tigers, Snow Leopards, chimpanzees, and giraffes. He also witnessed elephants receiving hydrotherapy treatment and visited the world’s largest elephant hospital.
Vantara, an initiative led by Anant Ambani, focuses on rescuing, treating, and rehabilitating endangered animals. It has saved leopards from road accidents, crocodiles from overcrowded spaces, and animals from hunting lodges worldwide. The centre also runs conservation breeding programs for endangered species and houses a state-of-the-art medical facility.
Rooted in Sanatan values, Vantara aims to be a global leader in wildlife conservation, offering a safe haven for thousands of animals, including elephants, big cats, and reptiles.
