The two-day Invest Kerala Global Summit (IKGS 2025) concluded with Kerala receiving investment proposals worth ₹1,52,905.67 crore from 374 companies. Industries Minister P. Rajeeve announced that companies have shown interest in establishing, expanding, and diversifying their businesses in the state.

IT and Infrastructure Growth
A total of 24 IT firms expressed plans to expand, adding ₹8,500 crore in investments and creating 60,000 jobs. Additionally, 66 companies submitted proposals exceeding ₹500 crore.
Fast-Track Implementation
The government is setting up a fast-track mechanism to follow up on investment commitments. A special dashboard, nodal officers, and a Chief Secretary-led committee will ensure periodic reviews, with the Chief Minister monitoring progress. A dedicated investor helpline will also be introduced.

The summit will be held every three years.
Kerala will host the UAE’s Investopia Summit in July 2026.
Guidelines for plantation land use will be revised.
Exemptions from land rules will be reviewed by a ministerial committee.
Federal Cooperation and Infrastructure Progress
Union Minister George Kurian praised Kerala’s timely execution of central infrastructure projects, which contributed to its industrial growth.
Global Participation
IKGS 2025 hosted over 3,000 participants, including delegates from 26 countries. Country-focused sessions highlighted investment opportunities in Germany, Vietnam, Norway, UAE, France, and Malaysia. The summit also featured an exhibition of 100+ enterprises showcasing Kerala’s industrial and traditional sectors.
