US-based digital customer experience engineering firm Infogain has opened a new office in Kochi, reinforcing its presence in India. The expansion follows the recent acquisition of Impaqtive, a Salesforce Summit partner that was incubated at Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM).

Kochi as a Global Delivery Hub

Headquartered in Silicon Valley, Infogain sees Kochi as a strategic location for global operations. The city offers a diverse talent pool, low attrition rates, and cost-effective operations, making it an attractive hub for IT services. Infogain CEO Dinesh Venugopal emphasized that the investment showcases the company’s commitment to exploring talent beyond metro cities while contributing to Kerala’s growing digital economy.

Creating Over 1,000 Jobs in Kochi

Infogain plans to generate over 1,000 specialized jobs in Kochi over the next three to five years. Joseph Korah, Head of Salesforce Studio at Infogain, highlighted that the new office will serve as a center for innovation in AI, data, and cloud technologies.

Kochi’s IT Growth and Potential

Kochi is emerging as a strong IT hub with 150,000 IT professionals and over 5,000 experts in data engineering. The city’s cost advantages and growing tech talent make it a key part of Infogain’s expansion strategy.
