Reports suggest that the wedding will take place at the Mother Teresa Crown Complex inside Rashtrapati Bhavan. The guest list will be limited to close relatives and friends, with strict entry protocols. However, there is no official confirmation from Rashtrapati Bhavan yet.
CRPF Officer Poonam Gupta’s Wedding
Poonam Gupta, a CRPF Assistant Commandant posted as a PSO at Rashtrapati Bhavan, will be the first person to get married there. She will tie the knot with Avneesh Kumar, an Assistant Commandant stationed in Jammu and Kashmir.
Who is Poonam Gupta?
Poonam Gupta led the CRPF’s all-women contingent during the 74th Republic Day Parade. She holds degrees in Mathematics and English Literature, along with a BEd from Jiwaji University, Gwalior.
In 2018, she secured the 81st rank in the UPSC CAPF exam and has served in Naxal-affected areas of Bihar. She is also active on Instagram, advocating for women’s empowerment and student motivation.
