Revolutionizing Air Quality: The atovio Story

Founded in 2024, Hisar-based atovio is a game-changing startup addressing India’s severe air pollution crisis. Led by IIT-IIM alumni Anmay Shahlot, Aditi Agrawal, and Siddharth Goel, atovio offers portable air purifiers designed to combat airborne pollutants like PM2.5, viruses, and bacteria. The goal? Ensure clean air wherever you go.

India’s air pollution is no small issue. Research shows it reduces life expectancy by an average of 5.9 years. For the founders, growing up in polluted cities like Gurugram and Kanpur was a wake-up call. Traditional air purifiers weren’t portable or suited for India’s diverse pollution sources, pushing them to create a homegrown solution.

atovio’s products are built entirely in India, aligning with the government’s Make-in-India initiative. Their Advanced Variable Anion Technology purifies air by generating millions of anions that neutralize pollutants, including harmful bacteria and viruses, within 30 minutes. Rigorous testing at the National Aerosol Facility, IIT Kanpur, confirms their effectiveness—reducing pollution by 90% in a 35-cubic-feet space.

The Products includes
1. The Pebble: A wearable, maintenance-free air purifier with a sleek, filter-free design. Perfect for on-the-go use.
2. The Oasis: A workspace air purifier shaped like a flowerpot, doubling as decor. Ideal for desk use.

Both products are lightweight, portable, and rechargeable via C-type charging.

Since its launch, atovio has gained notable patrons like Shashi Tharoor  and Savitri Jindal . Despite operating with a lean 10-member team, the startup is actively developing new products for children, babies, and homeowners.

Co-founder Anmay Shahlot emphasizes the mission: “Air pollution isn’t just a ‘season’—it’s an epidemic. Until bigger solutions emerge, atovio ensures clean air wherever you go.”

atovio  is not just a product; it’s a movement toward cleaner, healthier living. As air pollution remains a pressing issue, this innovative startup is paving the way for practical solutions.
