Virat Kohli is reportedly planning to move to London with his wife, Anushka Sharma, and their children, Vamika and Akaay, as per his childhood coach, Rajkumar Yadav. Kohli, currently touring Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, has been spending a lot of time in London over the past few years, especially after the birth of his son in February 2024.
Coach Yadav confirmed the family’s move, noting that Kohli intends to shift soon but will continue to focus on his cricket career for now. Kohli has been in London for extended periods, including following his son’s birth earlier this year.
Despite this, the cricketer’s time in London hasn’t affected his commitments, as he returned to play in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore and joined the Indian team for their T20 World Cup win in the USA and West Indies.
Kohli recently had an interaction with Australian media when they attempted to film his family at Melbourne airport. He voiced his concerns over privacy, demanding respect for his family’s space.
On the field, Kohli’s performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy has been inconsistent, with only 126 runs in three matches, despite a century in Perth.
