Tata Motors has launched the CNG variant of the Nexon, making it the first vehicle in India to offer a range of powertrains, including petrol, diesel, electric, and now CNG. This new variant stands out as the first turbocharged CNG SUV in India, offering a unique combination of power and efficiency. With its introduction, the Nexon CNG is set to make the sub-4 meter SUV segment even more exciting and appealing to a wider range of consumers.
The Tata Nexon CNG is available in eight different variants, each packed with a variety of features designed to enhance the driving experience. One of the most notable features is the panoramic sunroof, which makes the Nexon CNG only the second vehicle in this segment to offer this luxury, following the Mahindra XUV 300. This addition elevates the overall appeal of the Nexon CNG, catering to consumers looking for premium features in an affordable SUV.
The Tata Nexon CNG variants come equipped with several advanced features. The Nexon CNG Smart (O) variant includes six airbags, ESP, LED headlamps and DRLs, and a two-spoke steering wheel, among other essential features. It also has hill hold control and an auto-dimming IRVM. Moving up, the Nexon CNG Smart + variant offers a 7-inch infotainment system, four speakers, and smartphone connectivity, providing a tech-savvy experience. The Nexon CNG Smart + S variant includes additional features such as auto headlights, a voice-assisted electric sunroof, and rain-sensing wipers.
For those looking for more comfort and convenience, the Nexon CNG Pure variant provides bi-function LED headlamps, rear AC vents, and touch-sensitive AC controls. It also includes a rear power outlet and a follow-me-home headlamp function. The Nexon CNG Pure S variant adds features like auto-dimming IRVM and rain-sensing wipers. The Nexon CNG Creative variant brings even more premium features, such as 16-inch alloy wheels, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and automatic climate control. Additionally, it includes a reverse parking camera, TPMS, and height-adjustable front seat-belts.
The Nexon CNG Creative + variant steps up with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, and front parking sensors. It also offers wireless smartphone connectivity, providing a seamless experience. The top-tier Nexon CNG Fearless + PS variant comes with several high-end features, including sequential lights with welcome and goodbye functions, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation, and a wireless charger. Other notable features include front fog lights with a cornering function, Xpress cooling, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and ventilated front seats, making it one of the most feature-packed variants in the segment.
