Saudi Arabia has unveiled Milaf Cola, a groundbreaking soft drink made entirely from dates. Touted as the world’s first cola crafted from the region’s cherished fruit, it promises a unique blend of health and flavor.

A Healthier Alternative to Sugary Sodas

Unlike traditional colas laden with sugar or corn syrup, Milaf Cola uses premium local dates. Packed with fiber, antioxidants, and essential minerals like magnesium and potassium, the drink positions itself as a nutritious choice without added sugar. It harnesses the natural sweetness of dates, offering a refreshing yet healthy alternative to conventional soft drinks.

The Story Behind Milaf Cola

Developed by Thurath Al-Madina, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, Milaf Cola was launched during the Riyadh Date Festival. The company’s CEO, Bander Al-Qahtani, alongside agriculture minister Abdulrahman Al-Fadley, introduced the innovative beverage to an enthusiastic audience.

Milaf Cola complies with international food safety standards and emphasizes sustainability. By using locally sourced dates, the production process supports Saudi Arabia’s vision of economic diversification and environmental responsibility.

A Global Vision for Dates

Milaf Cola is not just about offering a healthier cola alternative; it aims to elevate the perception of dates from a traditional snack to a modern, versatile ingredient. Festival attendees praised the drink’s flavor, calling it “refreshingly different” and a delightful blend of health and taste.

The company has ambitious plans to expand its product line regionally and internationally. A spokesperson hinted at more innovations to come, aiming to revolutionize the way dates are consumed worldwide.

Milaf Cola symbolizes a perfect harmony of tradition and innovation, redefining how natural ingredients can transform everyday beverages. With its commitment to health, flavor, and sustainability, Milaf Cola is setting a new standard in the world of soft drinks.
