Bollywood has seen its fair share of breakups and divorces, with many couples opting for significant alimony payments during their separations. Here are some of the most notable cases:

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan married in 2000 but divorced in 2014 after 14 years together. They share two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Their divorce is reported to be one of the most expensive in Bollywood, with Sussanne initially seeking ₹400 crore in alimony. The final settlement was around ₹380 crore.

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta began their love story in the early 1980s, eventually marrying in a secret court ceremony in 1986. After 16 years together and two children, Ira and Junaid, they separated in 2002. Reports suggest that Aamir paid ₹50 crore to Reena as alimony.

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan tied the knot on December 12, 1998, but divorced in May 2017. Their divorce settlement is estimated to be between ₹10 and ₹15 crore.

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh

Saif Ali Khan married Amrita Singh in 1991, but they separated in 2004 after 13 years of marriage. In an interview, Saif discussed the financial arrangements of their divorce, revealing that he was to pay Amrita ₹5 crore, having already given her approximately ₹2.5 crore. He also committed to paying ₹1 lakh monthly until their son turns 18.

Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani

Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani were married for 17 years before their separation in 2017. As part of their divorce settlement, Farhan reportedly made a one-time alimony payment to Adhuna and transferred ownership of their 10,000-square-foot bungalow in Bandstand, Mumbai, to her.

These high-profile divorces highlight the complex emotional and financial dynamics faced by couples in the public eye.
