Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited (WIML), known for its electric vehicle brands ‘Joy e-bike’ and ‘Joy e-rik,’ has unveiled a customised electric three-wheeler, the e-Trike (Driver + 10). This innovation is part of a significant USD 1.29 billion order from Beulah International Development Corporation. The e-Trike has been dispatched to the Philippines for rigorous testing, aiming to revolutionise public transportation in the region.
Expanding the EV Line-Up for Testing
In addition to the e-Trike, Wardwizard plans to send more electric vehicles to the Philippines by February 2025. These vehicles will undergo extensive testing to ensure they meet the needs of the local market. This initiative aligns with the Philippine Government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP), which focuses on replacing outdated vehicles with modern electric alternatives.
Leadership Perspective on Green Mobility
Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations, emphasised the company’s commitment to the Philippines’ electric mobility landscape. He stated, “We are honoured to contribute to the Philippines’ green mobility transition through our partnership with Beulah International. Our e-Trike is tailored to local needs and reflects our dedication to timely product development and testing. India is fast becoming a leader in sustainable transportation, and our collaboration marks a significant step in driving global green mobility.”
Strategic Partnership for Sustainable Growth
This initiative builds on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Wardwizard Innovations and Beulah International Development Corporation, a key player in the Philippines’ infrastructure sector. The partnership aims to transform public transportation by introducing advanced electric vehicles, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and specialised commercial four-wheelers.
