Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, known for his martial arts passion, met Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, sparking a playful moment that would become one of the highlights of the event. Despite the summit’s focus on strengthening India’s AI capabilities, the encounter took an unexpected turn as Kumar shared a social media post showcasing himself and Huang in a martial arts pose. Kumar humorously captioned it, “Imagine meeting the world’s biggest authority on Artificial Intelligence and ending up chatting about martial arts!! What an amazing man you are Mr. #JensenHuang.”

Huang, who’s earned international fame for Nvidia’s breakthroughs in AI, praised India’s rapid digitalization and its massive potential in the AI sector. Alongside Kumar’s encounter, another pivotal moment unfolded when Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, met with Huang. During their conversation, Ambani highlighted India’s transformation into a digital powerhouse and unveiled an exciting new partnership between Reliance and Nvidia. This collaboration aims to build state-of-the-art AI infrastructure in India, tapping into the country’s vast talent pool. Huang lauded Ambani’s contributions to India’s tech space, noting that few have done as much to help the country become a global hub for AI and deep-tech innovations.
Ambani, never one to shy away from expressing admiration for his family, also took a moment to credit his wife, Nita Ambani, for her work on the Jio World Centre. “I was instructed by my wife to say this,” he chuckled, “The Jio World Centre is built by her.” The Jio World Centre, an impressive 18.5-acre complex, serves as a hub for business, culture, and entertainment in Mumbai, symbolising India’s growing importance on the global stage.
