Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently attended the opulent wedding of Dravya Dholakia, the son of diamond magnate Savji Dholakia, in Dudhala village, Gujarat. The grand event took place five days ago and was hosted by one of Surat’s wealthiest individuals.

PM Modi arrived at the wedding via helicopter to celebrate the union of Dravya Dholakia, the CEO of Dholakia Ventures, and Janhvi. The couple exchanged vows at Het Ni Haveli in Dudhala, surrounded by family and friends.
The Dholakia Family Legacy
Savji Dholakia, who founded Hari Krishna Diamond Exports, boasts an estimated net worth of around $1.5 billion (approximately ₹12,000 crore) as of 2023. Known for his generosity, he often gifts his employees luxurious items during Diwali, including high-end cars and fixed deposits.

On social media, Savji Dholakia expressed his gratitude for PM Modi’s presence at the wedding. He shared, “Today, as Dravya and Jahnvi venture on their new journey, we feel immensely blessed to have had none other than the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modiji join us in this moment of joy.” He emphasised the significance of love, unity, and tradition on this special day.
A Celebration Seven Years in the Making
In a subsequent post, Dholakia noted that the wedding was the culmination of seven years of hard work. He revealed that he had personally invited PM Modi to the wedding during their meeting in Delhi, also inviting him to inaugurate the ‘Bharatmata Sarovar’ in Dudhala village. “After seven years of hard work, today, this wedding took place without delay,” he wrote.
