N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, expressed his deep sorrow over Ratan Tata’s passing, describing the immense loss to the nation and the world. “It is with a profound sense of loss that we bid farewell to Mr. Ratan Naval Tata, a truly uncommon leader whose immeasurable contributions have shaped not only the Tata Group but also the very fabric of our nation,” he said. President Droupadi Murmu expressed her heartfelt sorrow over the passing of Shri Ratan Tata, stating, “India has lost an icon who blended corporate growth with nation building and excellence with ethics.” She recognized Tata’s achievements as a recipient of the Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan, noting how he enhanced the Tata legacy and expanded its global presence.
