Dubai’s leading private developer, Omniyat, has announced the launch of its latest luxury venture, the Alba Residences. Unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show, this $1.9 billion (Dh7 billion) development promises a new level of high-end living on Palm Jumeirah, designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid Architects.
The Alba Residences: A New Standard in Luxury
The Alba Residences will offer a variety of living spaces, including two-bedroom furnished units, three-bedroom unfurnished units, as well as larger three or four-bedroom simplex and duplex units, and penthouses. These homes will provide residents with stunning views of some of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks, including Dubai Marina, Burj Al Arab, and Burj Khalifa.
Positioned on the Eastern Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, the project aims to deliver private sanctuaries by the sea, redefining luxury and privacy in Dubai.

Omniyat’s founder and executive chairman, Mahdi Amjad, emphasised that The Alba is a reflection of the company’s vision for luxury living in Dubai. “The Alba, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, represents Omniyat’s vision of reimagined luxury by the sun and sea,” Amjad stated. He highlighted the collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects and Dorchester Collection, which together will offer a unique residential experience unlike anything seen before in the emirate.
Amjad also noted the seamless blend of nature and modern design, making The Alba a special addition to Dubai’s luxury landscape.
Dorchester Collection’s Next Chapter in Dubai
Christopher Cowdray, President of Dorchester Collection, described The Alba as the next chapter in the brand’s luxury journey in Dubai. The development will feature private enclaves, combining privacy and serenity with panoramic views of the sea and city. Cowdray emphasised the commitment to providing world-class service and an environment where nature and wellness come together, setting a new benchmark for luxury living.
In addition to lavish living spaces, The Alba will also include Dorchester Collection’s first-ever garden retreat by the sea, offering expansive private terraces and wellness-focused amenities.
Expanding Dorchester’s Presence in the Middle East
The Alba will be Dorchester Collection’s twelfth hotel globally and its second in the Middle East. The first, The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, has already established a strong reputation for luxury and service in the region.
