The Indian Navy has announced the recruitment for Sailor positions in the SSR Medical Assistant 02/2024 batch. Registration began on September 7, 2024, and will continue until September 17, 2024. The recruitment drive aims to fill Sailor roles in the Medical Branch, with basic training scheduled to start in November 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the SSR Medical Assistant posts, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a Board recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, with at least 50% aggregate marks and a minimum of 40% in each subject.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be born between November 1, 2003, and April 30, 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Selection Process
The selection for the SSR Medical Assistant 02/2024 batch will occur in two stages:
- Stage I: Shortlisting based on marks obtained in 10+2 PCB.
- Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Examination, and Recruitment Medical Examination at designated Indian Navy centres. Shortlisting will be state-wise based on aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Application Fee
