1. Gautam Adani
Gautam Adani and his family are now the wealthiest in India, with an impressive net worth of ₹11.6 lakh crore. This marks a significant rebound from the previous year’s downturn, where Adani’s wealth had dropped by 57%. Last year, however, Adani’s fortune surged by 95%, allowing him to overtake Mukesh Ambani.
2. Mukesh Ambani
Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, is ranked second with a net worth of ₹10.14 lakh crore. Ambani’s wealth grew by 25% over the past year and has seen a 150% increase over the past five years, solidifying his position as the second richest Asian.
3. Shiv Nadar
Shiv Nadar, the founder of HCL Technologies, holds the third spot with a net worth of ₹3.14 lakh crore. Nadar has also been recognized as the most generous Indian in the EdelGive Hurun Philanthropy List 2023.
4. Cyrus Poonawalla
Cyrus Poonawalla, the founder of the Serum Institute of India, is the fourth richest Indian with a net worth of ₹2.89 lakh crore. His wealth has grown 3.1 times since 2020, largely due to the success of his company.

Dilip Shanghvi, the founder of Sun Pharmaceuticals, has climbed to the fifth position with a net worth of ₹2.50 lakh crore, up from sixth place last year.

Radhakishan Damani is the eighth richest individual with a net worth of ₹1.9 lakh crore. His wealth has doubled in the last five years.
9. Azim Premji
Azim Premji, with a net worth of ₹1.90 lakh crore, is in ninth place. Despite a 25% drop in Wipro’s share price, Premji’s net worth has increased by 27% over the past three years.
