Tata Group has announced a significant employment opportunity for women from Uttarakhand. According to a recent official release, the company plans to hire 4,000 women for its plants in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Ranjan Bandopadhyay, the Chief Human Resource Officer at Tata Group, communicated this decision through a letter to the state planning department.
Recruitment Details
The recruitment process is set to commence soon. Tata Electronics Pvt Ltd will be responsible for appointing these women under the NPS and NATS programmes. The selected candidates will be based at Tata’s facilities in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, and Kolar, Karnataka.
Eligibility and Roles
Candidates who have passed their class 10 or 12 examinations are eligible for the NPS programmes. Those applying for the NATS programme must also possess an ITI diploma. The recruited women will work as shop floor technicians.
