The Indian government has approved support for the development of advanced drone cameras featuring facial recognition technology. This initiative is led by Trois Infotech, a startup based in Technopark,Kerala, which has been granted ₹1.5 crore from the Telecom Technology Development Fund administered by the Ministry of Communications.

This local production effort is expected to improve cost efficiency and effectiveness in monitoring border activities with greater precision.
