Nagarjuna, the patriarch of the Akkineni family, holds a substantial fortune exceeding ₹3,000 crore. His sons, Akhil Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya, also contribute significantly to the family’s wealth, adding millions to the overall net worth, which currently stands at an impressive ₹3,654 crore.

Impact of Divorce

Recent reports reveal a notable decline in the Akkineni family’s net worth following the divorce between Naga Chaitanya and his ex-wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The split, and Samantha’s subsequent departure from the family, led to a reduction in the family’s net worth by ₹100 crore. Samantha’s entry into the Akkineni family in 2017 had previously added approximately ₹100 crore to their collective wealth.

Engagement News

Naga Chaitanya’s recent engagement to Sobhita Dhulipala has brought renewed attention to the family’s finances. Nagarjuna has welcomed Sobhita into the family, sparking curiosity about the updated family wealth.

Nagarjuna’s Wealth

Nagarjuna’s personal fortune, valued around ₹3,441 crore ($410 million), is reflected in his extensive real estate holdings in Mumbai and Hyderabad. His ancestral home in Jubilee Hills is estimated at ₹50 crore.

Naga Chaitanya’s Assets

Naga Chaitanya, with a net worth of ₹154 crore, has built his wealth through a successful acting career, commanding fees of ₹8 to ₹10 crore per project. Known for his roles in films like Majili and Venky Mama, he remains a key financial asset for the family.

Akhil Akkineni’s Financial Standing

Akhil Akkineni, Nagarjuna’s younger son, has accumulated nearly ₹59 crore. Although he entered the film industry later than his brother, his career gained momentum with the 2021 film Most Eligible Bachelor, contributing significantly to his wealth.
