Renowned UPSC expert and educator, Dr. Vikas Divyakirti, garners widespread attention across various platforms for his expertise in UPSC subjects. With engaging snippets of his lectures shared on Instagram, he has amassed a substantial following. His coaching institute, Drishti IAS, boasts over 11 million subscribers, while his personal YouTube channel has an impressive 2.95 million subscribers.

Born on December 26, 1973, in Haryana to a middle-class family, Dr. Vikas Divyakirti’s academic upbringing was deeply influenced by his parents, both esteemed educators. His passion for learning was nurtured by his father, a renowned professor of Hindi literature at Maharishi Dayanand University, and his mother, a dedicated PGT teacher in Bhiwani. Surrounded by academic excellence, including his brothers excelling in software engineering and law enforcement, Vikas Divyakirti was inspired to pursue his educational journey.
Commencing his academic voyage at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Bhiwani, Dr. Vikas Divyakirti continued his studies at Delhi University’s Zakir Husain Delhi College, graduating with a BA in Hindi. Subsequently, he pursued postgraduate studies in Hindi and English, culminating in MA, MPhil, and PhD degrees.

Embarking on his teaching career at Delhi University, Dr. Vikas Divyakirti’s dedication led him to achieve an impressive AIR 384 in the UPSC exams of 1996. Following a brief tenure at the Ministry of Home Affairs, his true calling beckoned, leading to the establishment of the esteemed Drishti IAS coaching center in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi in 1999.

In addition to his academic endeavors, Dr. Vikas Divyakirti gained recognition for portraying himself in the 2023 film “12th Fail,” further solidifying his presence in the educational realm.
