Among the new offerings is Prahasta, an AI-powered robotic quadruped equipped with LiDAR (light detection and ranging) technology. Prahasta utilises reinforcement learning to generate real-time 3D terrain maps, improving mission planning, navigation, and threat assessment.
New Additions to the Defence Arsenal
Zen Technologies has also launched:
- Hawkeye: An advanced anti-drone camera system.
- Barbarik-URCWS: A remote-controlled weapon station touted as the world’s lightest, designed for precise targeting across a range of calibres (5.56 mm to 7.62 mm) for ground and naval applications.
- Sthir Stab 640: A robust, stabilised sight intended for use with armoured vehicles, infantry combat vehicles (ICVs), and boats.
Impact on Autonomous Defence Operations
These new products represent a leap forward in autonomous defence technology. Zen Technologies’ Chairman and Managing Director, Ashok Atluri, emphasised that these innovations will elevate the integration of advanced robotics into combat and reconnaissance missions.

Market Performance
Following the launch of these products, Zen Technologies’ shares saw a notable increase, settling at Rs 1,362.00 per share on the BSE, reflecting a 5 percent rise from the previous close.
