A Prized Acquisition
Ajith Kumar acquired the Ferrari SF90 Stradale in Dubai, where the supercar is valued at approximately ₹9 crore. This vehicle is significant not only for Ajith but also for Ferrari, as the ’90’ in the SF90 Stradale’s name commemorates the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari. The SF90 Stradale symbolises the deep connection Ferrari maintains between its track and road cars.
Cutting-Edge Performance
The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is Ferrari’s first model to feature a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) system. It boasts a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine complemented by two electric motors. The combined power output of this setup reaches 1000 hp, with the V8 engine alone generating 780 hp. This formidable power is managed by an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
When tested, the SF90 Stradale accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The car’s top speed is an impressive 342 km/h.
