Anand Piramal, Executive Director of the Piramal Group of Companies and son-in-law of Mukesh Ambani, maintains a relatively low media presence despite his significant role in the family empire. As the son of Ajay Piramal, Anand plays a critical role in managing the conglomerate’s financial services division.
The Piramal Group, one of India’s most respected and diversified NBFCs, has expanded into affordable home lending, construction finance, SME lending, and digital embedded finance under Anand’s leadership. He also oversees the company’s Alternatives business, collaborating with various financial institutions.

Anand married Isha Ambani in December 2018 in a lavish ceremony at the Ambani residence, Antilia. The couple moved into a luxurious mansion in Bandra, Mumbai, called Gulita, a gift from the Piramal family. Valued at over Rs 452 crore, Gulita features high-ceilinged rooms with grand chandeliers, a private swimming pool, a three-story basement parking area, a diamond room, multiple dining spaces, and a magnificent temple. The mansion also includes indoor elevators, comprehensive security, separate office spaces, and a salon managed by reputed makeup artists.
The couple also owned a luxury 12-bedroom mansion in Los Angeles, reportedly sold to American singer Jennifer Lopez and her partner Ben Affleck for Rs 500 crore. This impressive 38,000-square-foot residence featured spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, separate gyms, spas, salons, and even an indoor badminton court.
