Britannia Industries, a leader in the food industry, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for its Rudrapur facility in Uttarakhand, India. The ideal candidate will hold a B Tech in Food Technology and possess 11-12+ years of experience in QA-QC roles within reputed firms or corporate offices. Prior experience handling consumer complaints and direct consumer interactions is essential. Desired competencies include excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet management. Experience with CRM tools is preferred.
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for leading the development and continuous updating of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems. This includes establishing guidelines and metrics to cover all processes in the value chain. The role involves setting up mechanisms for effective monitoring and review of key metrics related to compliance with established quality processes, through periodic audits or other methods.
Additionally, the successful candidate will drive the development of quality capabilities within the system through deployment, training plans, and coaching. They will also be responsible for institutionalizing operational excellence programs such as Total Quality Management (TQM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, and Six Sigma across various business processes.
